This was the day that SCAFA, that is the School of Culinary and Finishing Arts in Dubai, started their fit-out construction process.
In the beginning, a large yellow machine was brought in to break the floor right in front of our eyes.
We got off to a rocky start, as our floor breaking machine was << kaput >>. But, we were able to bring in 2 brand spankin' new ones. These machines made a lot of noise. It was the loudest amount of noise I had ever heard, around 165 db. That's pretty darn loud !!

These machines were able to break all the floor of the 6,000 square foot property over a 3 day period. Pretty impressive!!!
On the 30th of January 2012 .....
We should be expecting our new floor to arrive with the help of "mini" bobcats !!! I will update with more pictures soon, but take an extra look at some more pics below. Enjoy ... and keep reading this blog :) !!!
Ms. Ideator your description of floor break was very interesting ...... I can't wait for the day when furniture is brought in ..... :). It is quite humorous..... I think you should also up date us on what is happening on the other side as well .... business development, menu updates (not specifics), etc. Looking forward to the next one
